Infosys Technologies will conduct a State-level placement programme for the final-year (2012 passing out) students in self-financing engineering colleges on April 9 and 10 at P.S.N.A. College of Engineering and Technology, Kothandaraman Nagar, Dindigul.
The Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University, Chennai, has arranged for this State-level placement drive. Final-year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) with a CGPA of 8.5 and above (no standing arrears) from I Semester to VII Semester are eligible to participate. It is mandatory that all the students should secure an average of 70 per cent and above marks consistently from SSLC and Plus Two. The principal placement officers of the college should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attend the campus placement. Students who have already paid the registration fee for the academic year 2011-2012 should bring their CUIC Placement Passport Book without fail.
Candidates who want to register for the first time have to pay a one-time registration fee of Rs. 750 in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of ‘The Director, CUIC, Anna University' payable at Chennai. Students of engineering colleges affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, can also participate in this placement programme on April 9 and 10 at Dindigul or on April 17 and 18 at Chennai.
The officers concerned can collect the registration fee from the students and make one consolidated demand draft and submit it along with the name list, registration number, branch and Annexure - I through courier with the soft copy of the students list as per the enclosed format to the CUIC, Anna University, Chennai on or before April 3.
