The IIT-JEE exam was conducted on Sunday.The three sections of the IIT-JEE exam were said to be moderately difficult. The maths section of the second paper was a bit lengthy and tricky. The questions in Physics in the second part rigorously tested the student's understanding of the concepts. As many as 5.06lakhs students appeared for the exam at 1,067 centers across the country for close to 9,590 seats in 15 IIT's of the county. This year the IITs have mandated that general category students get a minimum aggregate score of 35% and at least 10% in each of the individual sections for making it to the rank list. Similarly, OBC students must get at least 9% in individual sections and 31.5% in the overall score , for SC/ST's, the minimum to be bagges in each section is 5% and 17.5% must be the minimum aggregate to be on the rank list.
