BANGALORE : Queen's University, Belfast, launched Dr APJ Abdul Kalam scholarships for Indian engineering and science students worth up to $4,00,000. The scheme is open to 100 Indian students who wish to enrol in post-graduate engineering and science programmes at Queen's University in 2012. Each successful recipient will be entitled to $4,000 scholarship.The scholarships have been named after former the President who welcomed the initiative as a strong link between Queen's University, Belfast, and India.
