US has always been favourite destination for students. Mr.Anand Krishna , information officer, public affairs section, US consulate in Chennai, reassured students in Bangalore:"The US consulate in Chennai issues more temporary work visas than any other consulate in the world. Even when the US was recovering from the recession, the number of work and student visas remained high." This week being international education week, 20 officers from the consulate are speaking to students at 20 institutions across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry.
