Five girls share TN state top rank in SSLC

TN SSLC Results were declared today on 27 May with first rank going to five girls in the SSLC steam, all with a total mark of 496.

Once again this year too it was the girls topping the state ranks toppling the boys. In the SSLC state board, the toppers were Nithya, Ramya, Sangeetha, Minnal Devi and Harini. Bagging the second rank was a group of 11 students with a total of 495. Clinching the third position was another long list of 24 Students with total of 494.

In the Anglo Indian board, Nikita Christopher of St Josephs AI Girls Higher Secondary School, Trichy obtained the state first rank with a total of 486 followed by Sowmiya. J from the same school with total score of 485. The third place was shared by 3 students, V. Rajeshwari,  S.Preethi and Richard Joshua with a score of 483 marks.

As for as the Matriculation board is concerned, the first rank was secured by four students, R. JayaBharathi, S. Harshinie, M. Anith and M.N. Anniksha with total of 493. The second rank was obtained by 12 students from various schools with a total mark of 492.  The third position was obtained by 22 students securing 491 marks. 

In the OSLC stream with Arabic as the language subject, Rumana Aafrin of U H Oriental Arabic Girls HSS Pallapatti, took the first position with a total of 480, Z Zoya  Sabura Fathima of U H Oriental Arabic Girls HSS Pallapatti, secured the second position with a total of  474 and  E S Rabiyathul Basariya  again of  U H Oriental Arabic Girls HSS Pallapatti.

Once again in the OSLC stream with Sanskrit as the language subject, K. Supritha of Oriental HSS, Thanjavur took the state first position with a total of  482. The second position was bagged by 2 students S. Kowsalya and A. Vasuki both of   Sri Ahobila Math Oriental HSS Chennai  with a total of 475. And the third position was obtained by R. Bhaskar, a student from Sri Ahobila Math Oriental HSS Chennai with a total of 471.

Looking at the entire Class X result of Tamil Nadu, girls have reasonably done better than boys in all the streams this year too.
