Re-evaluation delay puts MSc students in fix

Updated on: Friday, December 16, 2011

A group of students, who appeared for the MSc (part I) papers in April, were shocked to find the results of their re-evaluated answer sheets in December. Usually, scores of the answers sheets are declared within three months of moving the re-evaluation application. Moreover, some students received answer sheets that did not belong to them.

“Students were handed photocopies of answer sheets that did not belong to them,” said a professor from the University of Mumbai.

Vilas Shinde, the varsity’s controller of examinations, said, “All answer sheets are bar-coded. If students have received someone else’s answer sheet, then they must contact the examination department.”
