Counselling for Medical Admissions in Tamil Nadu

Around 27907 students are eligible for the single window counseling for MBBS/BDS seats. 28053 candidates have submitted their application forms and out of this 146 were duplicates.

As on date, they are 2555 seats in Government Medical colleges for MBBS, and 100 seats in Govt Dental College. 15% of these seats will be allotted for All India Quota. Tamil Nadu has 2172 seats in MBBS and 85 in BDS.

Health Minister C.Vijaya Bhaskar released the Random Numbers to MBBS/BDS Admission. The random numbers are used to prepare the rank list.

If candidates get the same cut off marks then the date of birth will be considered giving priority for the elder candidates, when the candidates score equally, then the higher value random number will be given priority.

The first 10 digit random number will be arrived at and it will be treated as the first random number. The random numbers will be known from:

www.tn.health.org and www.tn.health.in

The rank list will be released after the announcement of revaluation and retotalling.
