Ranks for Indian Institute of Technology

Quathquarelli Symonds (QS) provided ranking of top 300 institutions in Asia. In this IIT Delhi is in 38th position and IIT Chennai got 53rd rank. In the last year IIT Madras was in 49th position. IIT Bombay came up from 39 to 41th rank. IIT Kanpur is in 52nd position. IIT Kanpur is in 60th position. IIT Roorkee moved from 66 to 70. III-Guwahathi moved from 89 to 95. University of Calcutta got the position 143 and shows an increase from 131. But university of Delhi moved down from 80 to 81. The quality survey Heard Ben Sowter reported about the importance of Indian Institute of Technologies.

In the latest Asian ranking, Banaras Hindu University, Punjab, Manipal, and Amity universities, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and Indian Institute of Information Technology have included in first time.
