Mother tongue and education

English is a university accepted language and it is reasonably flexible to take in all modern and upcoming subjects. Moreover English is a better communication language for the day to day needs; this is a general notion to accept English as a medium to learn subjects.

To see the other side of the coin, to understand the science in its real depth, better to learn the subjects in ones own mother tongue.

Myilsamy Anndurai, ISRO scientist says learning in ones own mother tongue enable the students to develop the logical thinking ability.

He insisted the importance of learning subjects in ones own mother tongue while he addressed in a training programme conducted by. Anandham youth Foundation. He also added that even in ISRO many scientists studies only in Tamil medium.
