Written Exam for Group I A - TNPSC

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has advertised inviting application for written Examinations for Direct Recruitment to the posts in combined civil services I - Group I service examinations to be held from 02.12.2014 to 09.12.2014.

The examination conducted by TNPSC is meant for the post of “Assistant conservator of forests” in Tamil Nadu forest services and there are 2 vacancies. One is for MBC.BC (w) and one is for BC (w).

The graduates from one of the disciplines of BSC in the subjects forestry, Botany, Zoology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, Geology, Agriculture, Horticulture, forest Economics, (or) BE in Mechanical, civil, chemical, Engineering are eligible to apply.

The graduates in Maths or statistics can apply provided they must have taken in the P.U.C or H.S.C the subjects Biology, physics, and chemistry.

The SC/SC(A), ST, MBC?DC, BC.BCM.DW candidates should be in age limit of 21 years and 35 years. The other candidates should be in the age limit of 21 years and 30 years.

The male candidates should have a minimum wt of 163cm with 84 cm normal chest and with an expansion of 5 cm.

The female candidates should have a minimum wt of 150 cm with chest 79 cm and 5 cm expansion.

The male candidates belonging to ST and races like Assam etc, Bhutan etc, Garhwali’s, Gorkhas, Kumauni’s, ladakhese, mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Sikkim’s and those from Arnachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Meghakya should have the minimum wt of 152 cm and the female from this category should have the minimum wt of 145 cm.

The cost of the applicator is Rs.50/- and the exam fee is Rs.125 and put together it is Rs.175/-.

and the last date for applying is 15.10.2014.

The last date for paying fee through bank or post office is 17.10.2014.

The dates of writes examination for I paper, II paper and III paper are from 02.12.2014 to 09.12.2014.
