No Jeans and T-shirts in Govt Medical Colleges

The Directorate of Medical Education issued orders stating that the students are not supposed to wear Jeans and T-shirts from September 1st in Tamil Nadu Medical colleges.

The counseling for MBBS/BDS admissions were conducted last month between 17 and 22. 2023 MBBS seats in 18 Govt. colleges, 498 MBBS seats in 7 self financed colleges were filled in this counseling. In the same 85 BDS seats in 18 Govt. colleges, 498 MBBS seats in 7 self financed colleges were filled in this counseling. In the same 85 BDS seats were also filled. Whole 2606 seats were filled. The students were given their allotment letter from the selection committee. The classes will be September 1, and at this context, the directorate issued guidelines for dress code for I year medical students. According to these guidelines, the boys and girls are not supposed to wear Jeans.
