L'Oreal India scholarship for poor girls

L'Oréal India has recently expanded its scholarship programme. The scholarship programme — 'For Young Women in Science' is now open to underprivileged girls. L'Oréal India will award scholarships worth Rs 2.5 lakh each to 10 bright and deserving girls from Delhi, NCR and Maharashtra, granted over a period of four years of study in a scientific field of their choice in a recognised college or university in India. Young girls who have passed their class XII exams from Delhi/ NCR (Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad)/ Maharashtra, in the current academic year (ended March 2011), with a minimum of 85% in PCM/PCB and not over 19 years of age on May 31, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Forms can be downloaded from www.foryoungwomeninscience.com. Forms should be submitted before June 30.
