MBA in port and shipping management

The Indian Maritime University under the Government of India has invited applications for a common entrance test to be held on July 4 for admission to its MBA programme in port and shipping management conducted at its Chennai and Cochin campuses and MBA in international transportation and logistics management conducted at its Chennai campus only.Bachelor's degree holders in any discipline with 50 per cent marks from any recognised university or those who are appearing for final degree examination are eligible to apply. The common entrance test will be held at Cochin, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

The National Inland Navigation Institute under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, has invited applications for admission to its job-oriented residential rating induction course for inland vessels.

Eligibility

10th standard pass. Age should be between seventeen and a half years and 25 years as on August 25. Eye sight should be 6/6 in both eyes. Medical fitness is also essential. Duration of the course is six months, starting August 2. Course fee will be Rs. 13,000 excluding boarding and lodging.
