Ambedkar University announces admission for 2010-2011

Ambedkar University, Delhi(AUD) has announced admissions for 2010-2011 to several bachelor's degree programmes.

 ''The BA Honours programmes in Economics, Psychology, History and Social Sciences and Humanities will be of six semesters of 128 credits,'' university sources said today.

''AUD would perhaps be the only university among the state or Central universities to offer a four-year dual major BA Honours degree,'' they added.

Individual mentoring of students will be a feature of all programmes due to the low faculty-student ratio.

In succeeding years, BA Honours majors will be offered in Mathematics, English, Hindi and other discipline-specific subject areas, as well as in such interdisciplinary formations as Development Studies, Environment Studies and Social Anthropology and Law, the sources stated.
