WAT 2012 - Written Admission test 2012 Details

Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Written Admission Test 2012, popularly known as WAT. WAT is an entrance test conducted by AWES for admission into the following programmes offered at the respective Army Institutes as mentioned below. Admission at different institutes will be made on the basis of WAT merit, scheduled to be held on the below mentioned date.

One-year full-time B Ed (Bachelor of Education)

• Army Institute of Education (AIE), New Delhi
• Army Centre of Education (ACE), Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh

Five-year BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) & three-year MDS (Master of Dental Surgery)

• Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Four-year B Sc (Bachelor of Science) Nursing

• Army College of Nursing (ACN), Jalandhar
• Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati

Four-year BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management)

• Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHM & CT), Bangalore

Four-year B Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Mechanical, Electronics & Tele Communication, Computer Science, and Information Technology

• Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune

One-year B Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Fashion and Apparel Design & two-year PG Diploma Autonomous Course (Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising & Logistics Management)

• Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD), Bangalore

• Combined WAT for B Ed: April 29, 2012
• PG WAT for MDS: March 18, 2012
• Combined WAT for BDS / B Sc Nursing: April 22, 2012
• WAT for BHM: April 15, 2012
• WAT for B Sc (Fashion and Apparel Design): April 21, 2012
• CAT for PG Diploma Autonomous Course: June 8, 2012

Note: The above list of centers does not apply to AIT Pune, ACDS MDS, AIL and AIFD for PG.

Interested candidates may obtain the application form and prospectus directly from the institutes by sending a request along with a Demand Draft of requisite amount drawn in favor of the concerned institute. One can download the application form from the official website of the institute. In addition, the application material can also be obtained from HQ AWES and HQs Command (AWES Cell) on payment of the amount through DD.
