Introduction

Vellore Institute of Technology University Master of Business Administration entrance exam (VIT MBA entrance exam) is conducted by the university for providing admission into two years MBA (Master of Business Administration) & MBA (IB) (Master of Business Administration–International Business) programmes, offered at Vellore and at its proposed Chennai Campus.

Eligibility Criteria for Vellore Institute of Technology MBA Entrance Exam

Minimum of 3-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE.Candidates completing all requirements, for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June of the respective year can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October.

Application Procedure for Vellore Institute of Technology MBA Entrance Exam

Besides taking CAT Exam, candidates have to apply on a separate application form with CAT/XAT/MAT score for MBA and MBA (IB) to Admissions Officer, VIT University. The application form and prospectus for this MBA Entrance Exam can be obtained by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 900/-drawn in favor of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore, to the Admissions Officer with a request letter containing the full address of the applicant or by handing over a DD in person at VIT University, Vellore (or) at our Chennai Administrative office.

Selection Process for Vellore Institute of Technology MBA Entrance Exam

Selection of students for the MBA programmes of the VIT university is based on valid CAT/XAT/ MAT score and full-time degree with 60% of marks throughout academics from a recognized University or Institution.Consistent academic scores and managerial work experience are added advantageous in the selection criterion.Candidates shortlisted on these grounds are further scrutinized through Group Discussion & Personal Interview conducted in major cities of India.
