Introduction

Institute of Management Development and Research entrance exam (IMDR) entrance exam process is adopted to admit candidates in 3 full-time programs in Management, International Trade and Human Resources besides some part-time programs for working professionals as well as training programs for corporate. IMDR has also entered into a tie-up with ESSCA, one of France’s leading business schools. Under this exchange program, students have the opportunity to participate in one semester at ESSCAs campuses in France and Budapest. Candidates for the admission to these courses are selected on the basis of CAT score followed by a unique selection process in which candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in ‘Group Work’ and a Behavioral Event Interview’ (B.E.I).

Eligibility Criteria for Institute of Management Development and Research Entrance Exam

Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE as eligible for post graduate studies, with minimum 50% marks and 45% for SC / ST candidates.Final year graduation students with at least 50% marks at the immediately preceding examination can also apply.

Selection Process for Institute of Management Development and Research Entrance Exam

Aspiring candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores and called for Personal Interview followed by Group Discussion.Based on their performance in both Personal Interview and Group Discussion, a final list of selected candidates is made.

Application Procedure for Institute of Management Development and Research Entrance Exam

Aspiring candidates can apply by obtaining the forms from institute counter or by post from IMDR by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Forms can also be downloaded from our website. Candidates must register with IMDR by submitting the IMDR application form along with a D.D of requisite fee in favour of ‘Director, IMDR’.
