XAT - Xavier Admission Test Details

Introduction

XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) Admission Test or XAT also known as the Xavier's Admission Test is a National level exam conducted by XLRI as a first step entrance test for management education. On the basis of XAT result, eligible candidates are short listed and called for Group Discussion, Essay and Personal Interview (GDPI) . There are more than 70 Management Institutes who select students based on XAT.

Eligibility For Xavier Admission Test

Candidates are required to have acquired a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 system from a recognized university or a deemed university. Those completing their final examination may also apply.

Exam Pattern For Xavier Admission Test

The number of sections in XAT are three. They are Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning & Decision Making and Verbal & Logical Ability. Each questios has five choices. Total time given is 120 minutes.

After the objective test, there is an essay of 20 minutes.
