Amrita University MCA Entrance Exam

Amrita University, also known as Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,conducts an entrance exam for the admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) program - Amrita University MCA Entrance Exam 2012. The University conducts this entrance test for its four campuses, that is, Coimbatore, Amritapuri (Kollam), Kochi & Mysore. The university finalizes the candidates' selection through marks in the entrance test, personal interview and performance in the qualifying academic examination. Amrita University was started as Amrita Institute of Technology. In 2002, it was awarded with the status of a University by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is accredited, with 'A' Grade, by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The candidates must have done graduation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized University and should have Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.

The question paper in the entrance test is divided into two parts. Part 1 consists of English comprehension, general awareness and test of reasoning. Part 2 is based on the mathematics.
