Introduction

Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Examination (AU AIMEE) will be conducted by Annamalai University as an entrance exam for students for providing admission in MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc (Nursing) and B Pharm. programs. The University is well equipped with modern equipments and offers high quality education.

Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates who managed to qualify in the Higher Secondary (10+2 or equivalent classes) or about to appear for the same may apply and appear in the AU AIMEE. Candidates not meeting the above mentioned conditions cannot apply or attend the examination.

Structure for Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Exam

The Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Examination is of objective type questions for 2 papers. The papers will be in English and the right choices for answers are to be darkened accurately in the OMR sheet that will be provided. Two or more darkening of choices in the OMR will render the respective question invalid and wrong. The two papers will have to be attended the same day itself.

  • Paper I - Biology (Botany and Zoology)
  • Paper II - Physics and Chemistry.

The entrance examination is for 100 marks. But for final selection, scores of the Higher Secondary qualifying exam and that of the Interview after the written entrance test will also be considered (only qualifiers of the written entrance test may attend the interview).

Application Procedure for Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Exam

For applying for the AU AIMEE, the application forms can be obtained by remitting the prescribed exam fee amount in person from the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar - 608 002. The forms can also be obtained from Cash counter of the University but on working days only. If the candidates need the aid of postal service, they have to send a request letter and a demand draft of the concerned amount favoring the registrar, at any bank and payable at Chennai, in a thick Kraft envelope (30cm x 24cm size) with a Rs 30/- stamp affixed to it. The name of the Programme for which the candidates are interested in should be boldly and neatly super scribed in the envelope. The Demand draft should also have the name and address of the candidates in detail on its back side. Fee once paid, will not be refunded no matter the circumstances.

How to fill the Form:

Application kit will also have an instruction brochure in it which will provide the candidates with the points he/she should follow and remember while filling up the form. Proper handling of the forms is recommended and every entry should be apt and precise not to mention neat. Forms submission should be as early as possible via Registered or Speed post or in person. Forms which are received after the last date will be rejected and refund requests will not be entertained.
