B.Education Guide

Education Details & Eligibility:

To have a career in aircraft maintenance one should be an aeronautical engineer with a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) or at least a diploma in Aeronautics. The degree and postgraduate degree courses are offered by the engineering colleges and Institutes of Technology (IITs), and the diploma courses are available at polytechnics. In India several technological universities offer courses in aeronautical engineering both at undergraduate and post-graduate level.

The basic eligibility criteria for BE / B.Tech program is 10+2 Sc (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths) or equivalent examination with a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate.

For M.Tech program in aeronautical engineering one should have completed degree in (BE/B.Tech) aeronautical engineering or any other equivalent branches of engineering

Course Duration:

Degrees in aeronautical engineering are offered at universities worldwide. In India mechanical engineering programs typically take four years and result in a Bachelor of Engineering in aeronautical engineering (B.E).

The P.G course is a two year course containing four semesters.

Approximate Education Expenses:

The Total expense for doing Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering is as follows
