Introduction

The Department of Culture, Govt of India has decided that no schemes for scholarship are provided to students who are creative artists who are available in the country and performing their artistic work. They have decided that such schemes should be provided in order to get implementation of the country�s art form which is traditional one. For this purpose it is decided that this scheme should be available for exemplary performer who are creative in relative field.

This scholarship scheme is named as the scholarship scheme granted to outstanding candidates in the respective field of performing, literacy along with Plastic Arts which is available to those artist who is living in rural and tribal area.

Eligibility for Scholarships Literary Plastic Arts Department Culture:

Candidates applying for the scholarship may ask to provide documentary evidence which will supports their testimonials.
Candidates who are going to apply for Senior Fellowship should not received any kind of pension from the department of culture.
Candidates who are offered this scholarship may not be entitled to receive second scholarship before completion of 5 year from the previous one.

This scholarship is of 2 types one is senior fellowship and other one is junior fellowship in senior fellowship 85 scholarships are granted to an amount of 12000 per month to artists who are above 40 years of age. The number of grants for junior scholarship is same but the amount is 6000 per month to those artists who are between 25 and 40 years of age.

Application for this scholarship is invited every year in the prescribed Format from the Indian nations. Scholarship in Literacy and plastic arts should be granted by the department of culture to artists who are from rural and tribal area. There is some eligibility attached to this scholarship which is only granted if the students are meeting those conditions.

Senior scholarship is granted to those candidates are above 45 years of age along with the maximum grants of 85 which comes to amount of 12000 per month. On the other side junior scholarship is also awarded the same grant but the amount is Rs 6000 per month which is granted to artist between 25 to 45 years of age.

Candidates applying for the scholarship must be not received any kind of pension from the department of culture and should submit the documentary evidence which is there to accompany the testimonials. This scholarship will not be granted to those candidates who may apply for the second time. But this can be possible only after completion of 5 years from the previous scholarship.
