Introduction

China Govt. Scholarships from External Scholarship Division under ministry of Human Resource and Development is provided to those interested candidates who want to pursue their higher studies in the respective field. This department arranges number of international scholarship to the students of India from the foreign government. This scholarship is offered in the following subjects for carry out the research work or post graduate course, which includes

Eligibility of China Govt. Scholarships from External Scholarship Division

Candidates who are applying for the scholarship should be the resident of India and should be below 40 years of age.
A candidate who belongs to SC/ST should given a relaxation of 2 years.
Candidates should hold a certificate or diploma in Chinese language from a reputed institution.
Candidates should also hold a bachelors degree in Fine arts with 60% of marks.
Candidates should also hold a post graduate degree in other subjects apart from fine art with 60 % of marks and also have 2 years of experience in research work.

The Duration for this scholarship is the period between 1 to 2 years.

The maximum number of scholarship which is granted is 25 and Chinese Govt provides this scholarship for

Meeting expenses of Boarding and lodging.
Tuition fees.
Meeting daily expenses.
Fares for both sides are provided by the Indian government.

Application procedure For China Govt. Scholarships from External Scholarship Division

Candidates who are employed must send the application in the prescribed format. This will also contain a list of sponsorship from the employers. The application should be in typed in a plain paper and send it to the MHRD within the specified date mentioned in the application form.
The session will going to be start in September and the notification regarding this will be published in the employment news and dailies which are leading one in the month of February and March.

Before applying for this scholarship there are some eligibility criteria which candidates have to fulfill. Those applying for the scholarship must be Indian nationals and should be below the age of 40 years and that candidate who belongs to schedule caste and tribes will be granted relaxation in the age for 2 years.

Candidates should hold the graduate degree in fine art with 60% of marks along with post graduate degree in other subjects also with 60% of marks with 2 years of experience in research work. The maximum number of scholarship which is granted in the period of 1 -2 years is 25 and this will help the candidates in bearing tuition fees and other expenses.
