Kolkata: A lot of ISC students got their results late because of too many hits on the website.

There were delays in logging on to the ISC websites for results as there were too many hits.

“The internet server was down for pretty long as my father was logged on since 10 am,” said Disha from Heritage School’s science stream, who got 90 per cent. “It was a pleasant surprise,” she exclaimed.

Pranay Lakhotia from the commerce stream MP Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School, faced the same problem. “I couldn’t see my results on my internet at home because the server was jammed. My cousin had to check my results from Hyderabad,” said Pranay.

Commerce student Masoom Manpuria was over the moon. “I topped my school’s and La Matiniere for Boys commerce stream,” says the student who scored 98.5 per cent. Her parents, of course, are happy. “They are satisfied with my work,” she says.

Some were not happy with results. “I scored a 89 per cent in my best four subjects. Although my friends did well, my results were not at all satisfactory. But I have already got admission in VIT College of Engineering through my competitive exam results,” said Ipshita Roy, Heritage School science stream.

Krishna Bhattacharya, economics teacher, GD Birla Centre for Education, said: “The school’s economics results was much better than last year. I am very happy with my students. The highest of our school’s commerce stream is probably Debadrita Mukherjee with a 96 per cent and the highest marks of the science stream is 97 per cent.”
