SRM University B.E (E.E.E) Results out

The SRM University in the city recently announced the results for the all-India entrance examination they conducted for admitting students for various courses. P. Athindran from Tamil Nadu secured the first place, followed by S. Narayan from Gujarat in the second slot and Chillara Venkata Manoj from Andhra Pradesh securing the third position.

SRM has been conducting the engineering entrance examinations at all India level for admission to various programmes in the faculty of engineering and technology every year. This year the SRMEEE was conducted on May 3.

A total of 75,115 candidates across the country appeared for the SRMEEE which was conducted in 100 venues situated in 84 cities across the country. For B. Tech., 29 per cent of the students appeared from Tamil Nadu, 18 per cent from AP, 13 per cent from Uttar Pradesh and 9 per cent from Bihar and the rest from various other states of the country.

The results of SRMEEE were declared on May 14.

SRM University provides founders scholarship for its first 20 top rankers in SRMEEE. This scholarship provides free education for the students with tuition fee, hostel fee, mess fee and transport fee waivers plus an additional stipend of Rs. 1,000 given to them every month.

This scholarship is also provided to top 100 state toppers in CBSE or state board from any state of the country and top 5 sistrict toppers in Tamil Nadu.

The counseling for admission will take place between June 12 to June 16. Over 2,000 students will be counseled per day.
