IIT Madras wins the Chennai leg of the qualifying round of Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz.

Techies from IIT-Madras made the city proud by winning the Chennai leg of the qualifying round at the recently held Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz.

The Inter-Collegiate quiz competition was open to all technical institutes and the event saw many a keen quizzer take part.

With over 50 teams participating in the The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz, Sahil Mathur, Prateer Viajyauariga and Kavin Aadithiyan from IIT-Madras did their college proud by winning.

While Arun Vasu, Consulate of Sweden in Chennai, graced the occasion, quizmaster Adittya Nath Mubayi hosted the regional round.

The winners will represent Chennai at the Grand Finale that is all set to be held at IIT- New Delhi on November 3rd.

Held as part of the Sweden–India Nobel Memorial Week celebrating the spirit of the Swedish innovator Alfred Nobel, the quiz gathers many keen trivia lovers.

The national winners get an all expenses paid trip to Sweden, where they will get the opportunity to visit the headquarters of partner companies, universities and the Nobel Museum.
