Global entrepreneurship summit from from January 11 to 13 at IIT-Kharagfpur campus

Global entrepreneurship summit, an annual conclave of IIT-Kharagpur, will be held at its campus from January 11 to 13.
 
The meet is one of the biggest entrepreneurial platforms for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences.
 
"Entrepreneurship Cell IIT Kharagpur aims to provide a platform where promotion of entrepreneurship could be discussed with a global perspective.
 
"It will serve as a conclave for discussion of opportunities and programs aimed towards promoting entrepreneurship in various universities across the world," an IIT-Kharagpur statement said.
 
The major draw will be the speakers. Sunit Singh Tuli of Aakash tablet fame, Indian-born US entrepreneur Kanwal Rekhi, Dominique Trempont who is considered close to late Steve Jobs, Forbes columnist and Silicon Valley entrepreneur Sramana Mitra and Naukri.com founder Sanjeev Bhickchandnai among others have already attended the previous meets.
 
The event will also see a 'startup camp' involving interaction of entrepreneurs and students and to help start-ups to recruit the finest talent of IIT-Kharagpur students for internships/jobs, the statement said.
 
About 30 start-ups from various sectors ranging from social ventures to health care to technology, from across India had participated last year's edition.
