Patriotic display

The parents and students attened the annual day celebrations at the Karumbaiah's Academy for Learning and Sports (KALS) School in Gonicoppa in Kodagu recently. It was aptly titled “India's Tryst with Destiny – Reliving India's Journey through ages.”

The students showcased different phases of Indian history. This event was preceded by a photo exhibition of various events and themes.

The event was graced by Rev. Jose Aikara, Chairman, ICSE Board, New Delhi. Among those present were, Datha Karumbaiah, Founder Chairman, KALS, his wife and former sprint queen of India, Ashwini Nachappa, who is the Managing Trustee of KALS and Gowramma Nanjappa, Principal, KALS. Ms. Nanjappa welcomed the gathering and highlighted the achievements of the students . Dr. Aikara spoke to the students.
