School notes from Bangalore

Students of St. John's High School, Cleveland Town, presented a musical during Christmas celebrations. Thomas Thangaraj, Presbyter, Church of South India, delivered a thought-provoking message.

School principal Princess Franklyn was present. The school wore a festive look with Christmas trees decorated with baubles and streamers.

B. M. English School, Hennur Road, organised a rock show cum food fest recently. The school band with Dennis on the guitar, Aditya on the drums and Anand on the keyboard was accompanied by singers Bashrath and Udit Ranka. They presented a variety of songs ranging from Michael Jackson hits to old Hindi numbers.

A food fest had stalls managed by students selling items such as fruit juices, burgers, pizzas and dosas.

St. Paul's English School, J. P. Nagar began their Christmas celebrations with a skit “Promises are meant to be kept”. Students spoke about the importance of the festival. There were competitions such as carol singing and Christmas decoration among the four houses. Topaz House won the first prize in both carol singing and in the Christmas decoration.
