CBSE released CTET Exam Answer Key

cbseThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer key for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held in September 2015. The candidates who appeared for the (CTET) exam can view the answer key by following the steps listed below:

Go to the official website, the link for which is: http://ctet.nic.in/CMS/PUBLIC/HOME.aspx

Click on the link 'OMR Sheet Images and Answer Key of CTET-SEPT 2015 Examination';

Insert the roll number and date of birth;

Login;

The (CTET) answer key will be displayed on the monitor screens, thereafter.

Over 7.5 lakh candidates had appeared for the (CTET) exam which was held on September 20, this year. More than 1,600 independent observers were deployed by the CBSE at 959 centres in India and abroad.

The OMR sheets of the aspirants have been published along too and can be checked on the official website. The aspirants can analyse and compare the answer key and the OMR sheets, in order to have a clue of their qualifying marks.

The results of the CTET exam will be announced by CBSE within this month; however, no official notification from CBSE regarding the same has been released.

A candidate who obtains 60 per cent or more marks in the TET shall be considered as qualified, according to NCTE notification. The candidates who pass the exam can apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT's of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. Besides, the qualified candidates will become eligible to apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
