National Institute of Technology meeting by President

 President of India, Pranab Mukerjee would host a two day conference for the Directors of National Institutes of Technology (NIT’s). in order to improve the quality of Technical Education in India. These meetings will be from November 7th. The meeting is nothing but a conference around 30 directors of National Institute of Technologies.  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Human Resourcce Development Minister M.M. Pallam Raju and the Chairman of University Grants Commission Ved Prakash would attend the meeting.  President is expected to discuss steps to improve the quality of technical education and faculty development in NIT to make them to the level of the top technical Institution in the world.  The focus of the meeting also meant for creating Inter linkages of National Institute of Technologies with the Industries.
