Infrastructure development to Anna University Colleges

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha on Saturday announced allocation of the Rs.150 crore to develop infrastructure in the regional officer and constitutional colleges.  Under Anna University.

According to the official resease, Rs.30 crore has been allocated to Madurai and Coimbatore regional offices for the construction of building for educational activities.  An amount of 30 crore would be meant for students hostels at Regional centres in Madurai, Coimbatore and Thirunelveli.   Rs.10 crore allotted for hostel construction in Dindigul, Ramanathapuram, Thuthukudi and Nagercoil.  In the same way, a um of 5 crore each has been allotted for similar activities in the colleges in Pattukottai and Panrutti.
