Shocking news revealed by Central human resource ministry that 35 percentage(numerically 212) of vacancies for faculties are vacant in all 15 IITs of India. These vacancies have been created due to the voluntary retirement of 212 professors. It is unsure that these voluntarily retired professors have moved abroad.

Hence, IITs are taking appropriate steps to fill those vacancies. The Indians, who are living in home or abroad, can apply for it. The only obstacle preventing NRIS from applying for this fabulous position is the 5 year contract that IITs laid on.
