To become a Yoga instructor, one should have a post graduate diploma in Yoga or at least a diploma. The diploma, post graduate diploma, degree & PG degree courses are offered by the private and Government colleges in India and around the globe.

Course Duration & Eligibility:

  • Certificate course - 8th pass - 6 months
  • Diploma course - 10th pass - 6 months
  • B.Sc yoga - 12th - 3 years
  • PG Diploma - any degree - 1 year
  • M.Sc Yoga - any degree - 2 years
  • M.Phil Yoga - 1 year
  • Ph.D. Yoga - 2 years

Approximate Education Expenses:

The total expenses for doing degree in Yoga and its related fields are as follows

  • Certificate course - 2000 Rs
  • Diploma course - 3000 Rs
  • B.Sc yoga - 10000 Rs per year
  • PG Diploma - 4000 Rs
  • M.Sc Yoga - 15000 Rs per year
  • M.Phil Yoga - 20000 Rs
