Introduction:

In 1983 The Inlaks Foundation became a Tax Exempt Private Operating Foundation, an approved charitable organization under the Charity Commissioners of the United Kingdom. The Inlaks Foundation Music Arts Awards is one of the organizations that it patronizes. The main aim of foundation is to search and provide financial assistance to outstanding and talented Indian musicians so that they can achieve new heights in the field in classical music in their country and conduct their studies and research work in another country.

Eligibility For Inlaks Foundation Music Award:

The eligibility criteria for the Inlaks Foundation Music Awards are:

The applicant should be an outstanding musical talent recognized by appropriate authority
The applicant must be below 30 years of age as on the 1st of July
The applicant should be capable of transcending all boundaries in the field of Indian classical music
The candidate should be referred by an exponent in Indian Classical Music and receive uninterrupted guidance and performance appraisal from the guru.

Duration For Inlaks Foundation Music Award:

The Inlaks Foundation Music Awards are given out for a period of 1 year to 2 young Indian musicians.

Value of Scholarships:

A monthly grant of Rs.5000/- for a year is awarded by the Inlaks Foundation under this scheme.

How to Apply Inlaks Foundation Music Award:

The following must be sent to the Inlaks Foundation.
The last date of collection of application forms is the 15th of April, every year.
To applying for a scholarship for Music, Applications should send the documents between 1st of September to the 30th of November of a particular year.
