Eligibility For Airtel NDTV Scholarship Hunt - Study in UK Universities:

1.The school students in India who satisfy all the criteria mentioned below shall be eligible to participate in the Contest:

A citizen of India who is a resident of India;
A student of Class XII and is appearing for Board Exams in March/April, 2007, conducted by a recognized board of secondary education in India;
Scored minimum marks of 75% in Class X (which shall be the aggregate of 4 subjects and English, and excluding physical education, music, home science, etc.). For Scholarship in the Science field, the aggregate of subjects should include Science as well;
Proficiency in English Language and should have scored a minimum of 70% in English in Class X. In the event that a person meets the overall percentage requirement but has scored less than 70% in English language, such person may take the IELTS or the TOEFL (if not taken already) and submit the results to NDTV latest by May 21, 2007. The minimum IELTS or TOEFL score required is as follows:

TOEFL	260 in the Computer Based Test (CBT); or 105 in the Internet Based Test (IBT); or 620 in the Paper Test	240 in the Computer Based Test (CBT); or 94 in the Internet Based Test (IBT); or 580 in the Paper Test	213 in the Computer Based Test (CBT); or 80 in the Internet Based Test (IBT); or 550 in the Paper Test	240 in the Computer Based Test (CBT); or 94 in the Internet Based Test (IBT); or 580 in the Paper Test	213 in the Computer Based Test (CBT); or 80 in the Internet Based Test (IBT); or 550 in the Paper Test

Not enrolled on an undergraduate degree programme/course either in India or in any part of the world.
Will be available inter alia to commence their Scholarship in the academic year 2007/2008.
Confirmed that they will comply with all relevant University application and admission rules and procedures .

2.Class XII results will be considered by the University and members of the panel in Round 2, that is, at the time of interviews. The University may reject a student on poor academic record/performance at school at this stage. After Round 2, Class XII results will have no bearing on a Contestant's eligibility to compete and/or win the scholarship.

3.All employees or relatives of employees of NDTV and its Affiliates and EMC and/or their associate and affiliate companies/concerns are not entitled to participate in the Program.

4.Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria as mentioned herein above and who register for participation shall be referred to as the Contestant
