Karnataka school reopening, Government seeking for suggestion from parents: Education Minister

 Karnataka Government seeking to consult with parents ideas and views about reopening on schools.

The Minister for primary and secondary education S.Sureshkumar said that opinions about reopening schools by the parents and the Development committee of schools will be received from June 10 to 12.

Minister also added that schools should inform about the date and time of meeting to the parents and also collect the suggestion from parents and record it.

 Parents should be consulted about the date of reopening, COVID-19 impacts and also how to maintain social distancing and safety measures to be taken in schools “Minister added.

Minister also requested all the parents to take part in this meeting and give their opinions and views.

A final decision will be taken on July ,A further order and guidelines for schools on gathering parents is expected to release on the same day on the basis of guidelines given by ministry of Home affairs.

Meanwhile all the Educational institutions were remain closed from the month of March due to COVID-19 and Karnataka government has taken the initiation towards reopening of schools with suggestion from parents.
