CAT Exam: Now Girls can get Test Centre of their Choice

catThe registrations for CAT (Common Admission Test) 2015 has started from August 6 and the CAT exam is scheduled to be held on November 29.

It has been noted that there is a decrease in the number of candidates appearing for the CAT exam, even after they register for the exam and most of them are girls. The reason is the non-accessibility of test centre from their place, long travelling hours to test centre is inconvenient and problem of transportation, most of the girls do not appear for the exam.

So as to provide a relief regarding this issue, IIM Ahmedabad the CAT 2015 board has decided to allot the test centre to girls alone as per their choice, which will be close to their resident.

CAT is a computer-based test, that assess a student on the basis of his skills in Logical Reasoning English and Mathematics.

It is one of the most competitive MBA entrance exam conducted in test centre all over India which is attended by over 2 lakh aspirants and is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management for admissions to 21 IIMs and 100 B-schools in test centre all over India.

The candidates must possess minimum 50 per cent marks in graduation in any discipline from a recognized varsity. Final year graduation Students can also apply but they should submit the graduation final marks to the institutes.

The time duration of the Exam would be 2 hours and 50 minutes. This test consist of 100 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer, the aspirant would be given 3 points and negative marking would be done for wrong answers. The Result will be declared by the third week of December.
