Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) - Job Opportunities

The notification is issued by CISF for the post of constables for 800 vacancies. The eligibility to apply for this post in 10th passed and the candidates should be between age limit of 18 years to 23 years as on 19th January. According to the Government norms for age criteria, relaxation for 3 years and 5 years in age limit is given to OBC and SC/ST respectively.

The physical fitness is the basic requirements. To begin with before permitting to written test the candidates eligibility in height, physical abilities, will be examined. The candidates should be able to run 5 kilometers in 24 minutes. Identification mark in their physic will be examined besides the qualification and other documents. The eligible candidates in the above mentioned tests will be duly permitted to appear in written test.

The written test will be of objective type with multiple choice questions. The question paper consists of 100 questions which include General knowledge, Mathematical abilities, Analytical Aptitude and ability for duration of 120 minutes. The candidates, who are qualified in written test, will be sent to the next stage of medical examination.

The candidates can down load the application from the website www.cist.gov.in, the copying fee of Rs.50/- should paid in the form of Postal order favouring

“Assistant common dart/DDO CISF south Zone, Chennai’

Payable at general post office Chennai.

The candidates belonging to SC/ST need not pay the application fee.

The application should be filled and should be sent to

 Two covers of size 8 x 19 cm in which stamps for Rs. 22 should be pasted, 2 pass port size photos with candidates; signature should be enclosed with the application.

The cover should be superscripted in captions as

“Application for the post of Constable /Force-2014”

The application could be sent on or before 19.01.2015.
