Programme designed to offer experience of the Indian corporate sector to foreign students

Students from Euromed Management, School of Management and Business in France, recently visited India under the ‘Destination India’ Programme organised by Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool). The programme was designed to offer the much needed experience of the Indian corporate sector to foreign students. WeSchool hosted about 24 international management students pursuing the between January 20 to 26.

The students attended programmes that help familiarise them to the Indian business scenarios conducted by faculty and industry experts on the topic of marketing, retail, economic perspectives and future outlook, geopolitics, finance  and  role of religion in business. Industry visits were also arranged to give them an overall perspective of Indian corporate scene. Participants had the opportunity to interact with business leaders, government officials and academicians, and were also exposed to the heritage and cultural diversity of India.

Past participants to the programme include students from Temple University, University of St Thomas, Swarthmore College, Western Kentucky, University of Connecticut, George Graziadio School of Business and Management, Pepperdine, Graduate School of Education and Psychology, Pepperdine, Euromed Ecole de Management and others.
