Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)

Among the six large government space agencies, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is the one among the six largest government space agencies. The primary objectives of this organization are to make advancement in space technology and make the correct usage of the application for the benefit of the nation. In the year 1969, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) superseded Indian national committee for space research. The headquarter of the organization is in Bangalore. The administrative control of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was laid down by department of space, Government of India.

Achievements of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)

Great milestones were achieved by the first satellite of India, Aryabhata. Other achievements were Rohini, SLV-3 etc. Various communication satellites were launched by the scientists in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Different operations were conducted by the launch sites as well as launch vehicles. There are much more future plans of the scientist inventing in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Development of GSLV, inter planetary probes and lunar exploration are some of the future plans of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). A proper coordination with international community for getting multilateral as well as bilateral agreements is one of the objectives of ISRO.

Objectives of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)

There are many objectives and functions accomplished by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The polar satellite launch vehicle is one of the objectives which have been successfully laid down by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The activities of scientist S.K Mitra have been traced with an experiment leading to sounding of ionosphere. Application based on ground based radio methods have been established in Calcutta in 1920’s. A great contribution was made by the Indian scientist named as Medhnad Saha and C.V Raman for the application in space science. The study of cosmic radiation is associated with airborne testing and a massive study of cosmic radiation. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) also deals with testing of instruments, experimenting in Kolar mines and the study of cosmic radiation. In various independent locations, research laboratories and universities Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has carried on with corrective actions.
