Plus two public examination pass percentage has risen to 88.17 per centfrom 84.52 in 2012

Puducherry and Karaikal regions of Union Territory of Puducherry have registered an overall pass percentage of 88.17 in the plus two public examination held in March this year, result of which was released.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy said while the pass percentage in 2012 was 84.52 it has risen to 88.17 per cent.

Puducherry has no separate Education Board and adopts the pattern of neighbouring Tamilnadu educational curriculum. Mahe and Yanam regions adopt the pattern of neighbouring Kerala and Andhra Pradesh patterns respectively.
