Campus violence should stop: Bengal CM

In view of the clashes at a college in Howrah district, West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said that campus violence is unacceptable and should stop immediately.

Bhattacharjee said, “A student lost his life in campus violence. Another student suffered a severe eye injury. These kinds of incidents are totally unacceptable. Campus violence should stop immediately."

"In the last few months we a have also witnessed brutal murders of teachers by Maoists. Actually whenever an unholy force tries to rise they resort to violence and destruction," he added.
