FIITJEE talent reward exam on December 26

A talent reward exam, ‘FTRE 2010', organised by FIITJEE and The Hindu Education Plus, will be held on December 26. The exam will be held in 200 cities across Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The day-long exam is aimed at students of classes V to IX where it would test them in IQ, mathematics and science. The test for class X and XI would have IQ, physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Counselling would be held after the exam to help students plan and prepare for competitive exams such as NTSE, KVPY, Olympiads, IIT-JEE, AIEEE, SAT-I and SAT-II. Outstanding performers would be rewarded with merit certificates and scholarships that would cover the coaching expense.

The examination centres for students in and around Chennai are: Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet; Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mogappair; Devi Academy Senior Secondary School, Valasarvakkam; Chettinad Vidyashram, RA Puram; Atomic Energy Central School No.2, Kalpakkam; Sri Sankara Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Tambaram; and Maharishi International Residential School, Sunguvachatthiram.
