New course from IGNOU

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a programme to train medical graduates in treating diabetes.
The programme will be open to medical graduates looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the area of medical diabetology. IGNOU’s School of Health Sciences (SOHS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hansa Med Cell, a company that works in the area of providing medical education, in order to launch a Post Graduate Diploma Programme (PGD) or medical graduates in diabetes mellitus.

BASE has launched an activity-based learning course to teach kids science and maths. BASE, which provides training for students to face competitive examinations has announced “Discover”, a unique beyond-classroom learning platform that enables children to explore, experiment and experience learning. The programme will help students from Classes V-VIII to seek the next level of learning through experiments and interesting communication tools.
