Financial Literacy Programme launched in State schools

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India Limited in association with the School Education Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, launched Financial Literacy Programme for school students in the State on Saturday.

The NSE has prepared two student-friendly books in English for Class VIII and XI to give them an insight into money management, financial markets.

The books which were printed by the Tamil Nadu Textbook Corporation were released here on Saturday by its Managing Director A.S. Jeevarathinam in the presence of P. Perumalsamy, Director of School Education and senior officials from the School Education Department and the NSE.
