Dhirubhai Ambani University to be set up in Bhopal

Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) announced the setting up of the Dhirubhai Ambani University in the city.
 
"The Madhya Pradesh government has issued a letter of intent for the proposed University for which around 110 acres of land has been allotted near Acharpura," ADAG spokesperson said today.
 
"The group has fixed a sum of Rs 100 crore for developing Higher Education in Madhya Pradesh," he said adding the proposed university will offer studies and research in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
 
The university will offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with an emphasis on the latter, the spokesperson said.
 
"The group already runs a university at Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat and the experience of running it would come handy here," the spokesperson added.
