NIIT enters global alliance with Tally

IT trainer NIIT has entered into a global alliance with business management software provider Tally Solutions to jointly offer programmes to train persons for the requirements of small and medium business sector.
 
As per industry reports, India needs around 1.3 million business software trained manpower to fulfill the talent requirements of eight million small and medium business units.
  
The programmes would be offered by NIIT and Tally would cater to the requirement of trained business software professionals, a joint press release here said.
 
"This global alliance would cover India, Middle East, Africa, China and Asia Pacific in a progressive manner, thus making available talent to power the growth of small and medium business enterprises" it said.
 
In the first phase, NIIT and Tally would launch the programme in Nigeria, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh besides India. The programme then would be taken to other countries progressively, it added.
 
"This strategic partnership with NIIT will enable us to create skilled Tally professionals for the growing IT needs of the SMB sector in India and abroad." Tally Solutions Managing Director Bharat Goenka said.
  
The programmes being announced include training on the latest Tally.ERP 9 Software, as well as business processes and soft skills.
  
"This alliance will lead to creation of highly-skilled and comprehensive business software professionals for the SMB sectors in India and overseas", NIIT Ltd CEO Vijay Thadani said.
  
Under the global alliance NIIT would offer comprehensive programmes on business software with the Diploma in Tally.ERP 9 and Business Processes" for commerce students.
  
The professionals would be comprehensively trained on business processes and in Advanced Excel. NIIT would provide placement assistance to the students, it added.
