IITJEE 2011 exams in April

The IIT joint entrance examination for 2011 is slated to be held on April 10.

A meeting held at IIT-Kanpur on Saturday also decided that the question pattern will remain unchanged.

The joint admission board, a body represented by the IITs for overseeing the joint entrance examination every year, decided to hold the exam in the existing pattern.

About four lakh students had appeared the IIT-JEE this year for about 10,000 seats in IITs. The number of seats is expected to rise in 2011.
