After the recent racial attacks on Indians, the Australian government has tightened the visa and immigration process for all the foreigners.

Accordingly, the applicant should have a relative in Australia and also get through the English skill test conducted by the Australian Government to obtain visa and move into Australia.

Therefore, danger for losing jobs is on the rise for Indians living in Australia with employed as gardeners, cooks, fitters, journalists, fashion designers and hairstylists.

Further, every year there are nearly 1 lakh students getting in Australia to study. Most of the students are from north India. In this situation, the future of these students stands as a big question with the Australian government framing such new rules. In addition, the Australian government shut down 37 schools where foreign students were studying.

Speaking about this in the Lok Sabha, Vayalar Ravi, Minister for Indian affairs overseas, told that the Australian government has considerably reduced preferences on jobs provided for foreigners.

As a result, students studying there are unable to take any sort of employment.  With all these developments, the Australian government has closed down 37 institutions where Indians were studying, hence nearly 5000 students future is at stake.
